MNET Services>Telecom Voice>IP Telephony (VoIP)>Caller ID Blocking

Per Call Blocking

This feature blocks sending of name and phone number on an outgoing individual call.

The block must be established for each call placed.

The feature blocks the name and number on calls to external numbers outside the MN.IT IP telephony service footprint. This feature does not block the name and number information on calls to a number that is served by the MN.IT IP telephony service. This feature does not block ANI information.

Dial pattern: *67 then 9 nnn-nnn-nnnn

For Telephones at Caller ID Blocking Gateway Sites

Some user lines are configured with per line blocking, meaning that by default, name and number are blocked on all calls to external numbers outside the MN.IT IP telephony service footprint.

This feature allows such users to undo the block on a per-call basis.

Undoing the block sends name and phone number on an outgoing individual call.

This unblocking must be performed for each call: i.e., the default reverts to per line blocking after each call.

Dial pattern: *82 then 9 nnn-nnn-nnnn
