MN.IT is in the process of deploying IPv6 across the backbone. This process involves:

• Obtaining our IPv6 address block (complete)
• Determining the master allocation plan (complete)
• Determining the basic security configuration (complete, being tested)
• Determining the standard device and interface configuration
• Determining which devices need code upgrades (complete)
• Completing the code upgrades (backbone: complete, other: in-progress)
• Deploying IPv6 code configuration
• Turning up customer interfaces
